Dr. Jae Song

Optometrist

About Me

I've been in practice in the Niagara region since 2007.  I'm originally from Toronto, but have relocated to St. Catharines where I live and practice.

I did my Undergraduate degree at Waterloo where I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Pre-Health/Pre-Optometry.   After finishing my degree I was accepted to the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

I graduating from Optometry school in 2006, and was then accepted into the Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation Residency program at the SUNY College of Optometry in New York.  I spent a year in specialized study of people with poorly functioning eyes and eye turns.  I was even able to do some research in the use of video games for vision therapy. Now a days though, I just enjoy both of them on there own.

Currently my afterwork activities include Crossfit, so if you want to talk about WODs and AMRAPS I'm all ears.
